It’s OK if the Only Thing You Did Today Was Breathe


I’m the kind of person who usually doesn’t complain about things. I try to see the big picture and find calm in tough situations. I like to joke around with my kids, chat with people I don’t know, and just enjoy life. But sometimes, I feel really overwhelmed with the changes that are happening in my life. I get tired of trying to be happy with how things are right now. When this happens, I just shut down and can’t seem to do anything. It’s not that I’m being lazy or feeling down, it’s just that I’m having a tough day. And you know what, that’s okay. It’s normal to have days like that, and it doesn’t mean anything is wrong with me. I just need to take a step back, breathe, and remind myself that it’s okay to not be okay all the time.
