Can we just say it out loud? Nobody has it all together. Not the couple with the perfect Instagram feed. Not the parent at the soccer game who looks like they woke up that way. Not the coworker who seems to have their whole life dialed in. Nobody.
We all have our own struggles, things that are broken and need fixing. Some of us are dealing with stuff, trying to work through it, while others are avoiding it altogether. And then there are things we’re just not ready to talk about yet. The thing is, nobody really has it all together. It’s not like some people have figured everything out and others haven’t. It’s just that some are better at keeping their struggles hidden. We’re all in this together, trying to make sense of our lives and our problems. Nobody’s perfect, and that’s okay. We’re all just trying to do the best we can, even when it feels like everything is falling apart.
So quit the comparison game. Step away from the scroll, turn off the noise, and give yourself some distance from anyone or anything that makes you feel like you’re the only one falling short. Because you’re not, and you never were.
We’re all just trying to make it through life with what we have, and we’re not perfect. We’re all still learning and making mistakes, but that’s okay. It’s just part of being a person.
